Spanish-speaking support from Day 1

Great team members come in every language. That’s why LifeBridge Health has made it a priority to create a more accessible and welcoming hiring experience for Spanish-speaking candidates, with resources and support to help them apply, interview, get hired and build a successful career with us.

If Spanish is your primary language and you’re looking for a stable career with a large organization that offers benefits for you and your family, our Spanish-speaking recruiting team is here for you. In the past year, we’ve welcomed over 60 Spanish-speaking team members to LifeBridge Health. We look forward to welcoming even more in 2027.

How does hiring work for Spanish speakers?

Our Spanish-speaking recruiting team is here to answer questions, provide support and help candidates through the entire hiring and onboarding process.

Step 1: Apply

After you submit your information through the general interest form found here in Spanish, a bilingual recruiter will reach out to help you find the right role.

If you have already browsed our job openings and have questions about a specific role, you can ask our Spanish-speaking team members about it before applying They can also help you complete the formal application for employment.

Step 2: Interview

Our recruiters help you prepare for and get through the interview with a person who speaks your language. You can ask about the schedule, the team, the work, and the pay without translating in your head.

"I frequently receive calls from (Spanish-speaking) individuals who have been referred to me by other candidates. They are relieved to know that we can communicate comfortably and understand one another."

Johanna Diaz, bilingual talent acquisition
consultant at LifeBridge Health

Step 3: Onboard

If you accept a position with LifeBridge Health, your first week on the job will involve paperwork, laboratory visits and a lot of new information. Our team will be there to translate everything into Spanish, so you understand what you are signing and what is expected of you.

What if I need help communicating when I'm at work?

You will have support after you start working, too. We have tools on hand, including translation phones, so you can talk with your team and leaders without a language barrier getting in the way. If a supervisor needs to explain a task or you need to ask a question during your shift, you have a way to do it.

Belonging at LifeBridge Health

LifeBridge Health was founded more than 150 years ago and welcoming a diverse workforce has been part of our mission since the beginning. Currently, our Spanish-speaking team members come from El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, and many other countries across Latin America. You will work with people from many places, and some of them will share your language, cultural identity, and traditions.

We also have a Hispanic employee resource group, SOMOS, where team members connect around culture, language, and more. It gives you a way to meet people outside your own department and hospital. The executive sponsor of the group, Nitza Santiago, has been a LifeBridge Health team member for 25 years.
